Roles and areas

Digital Application Center

In our 3D printing centre, we cover everything related to digital workflows, applications and technologies. We develop and validate parameters for the optimal interaction of DMG 3D printing materials with various 3D printers.

Development (Chemicals)

We develop products, support other departments with chemical-related queries and maintain documentation.

 

 

Chemicals Research

In Chemicals Research, we conduct research into new materials for the dental industry as well as their application processes. Our aim is to improve properties and, in some cases, even develop new ones.

Analytics

In Analytics, we carry out analyses on raw materials and intermediate products for all company departments.

Biomedical Research

We research molecular and cell biological processes in healthy as well as diseased dental tissue and develop new starting points for innovative treatment options for the prevention and causal treatment of various dental diseases as well as for regenerative therapy.

Technical Development

In Technical Development, we develop medical products for use in dentistry and dental technology. We also develop innovative forms of application and packaging right through to their implementation. The technical evaluation of medical devices as well as the creation and maintenance of technical documentation are also among our diverse areas of responsibility.

Material testing

We carry out all material science tests for the development, validation and approval of our products. To do so, we use and continually improve our existing mechanical and rheological test methods, and provide new measuring methods. We also conduct accelerated ageing testing to ensure the performance of our products.

Clinical Research

In Clinical Research, we play an instrumental role in the evaluation of all our medical products, and assess them in terms of safety and performance. We test all materials for usability, and also create colour formulations and demo models. In addition, we support opinion leaders at universities, clinics and laboratories, and carry out studies on our products with research partners.

  • Special funding for a broad spectrum of qualifications,

  • Funding for remote learning and extra-occupational training courses,

We pay a contribution to the company pension plan for all our employees.

In recent years, we have been able to offer our employees a number of benefits. In addition to free drinks like water, coffee and tea, and subsidised meals in our company canteen, we also contribute to the cost of the Deutschlandticket and of visual aids. We also make a point of acknowledging work anniversaries and birthdays, provide a profit-sharing scheme from month 13 onwards, and the option of leasing a bicycle through JobRad.

The induction process is tailored to each individual employee. We consider it important that the most qualified employees in the respective area induct their new colleagues. The induction plan always includes getting to know the relevant interfaces.

Yes. In addition to conferences, we also support attending congresses and training courses. This can be arranged several times a year.

As we have to stay up to date with our testing methods, we always offer further training in this area. But we are also happy to support other opportunities if the project in question requires it.

We want to offer our employees the best possible support on their career path. Therefore, we are happy to draw up individual development plans with them.

Our projects usually last between six months and five years, with product developments taking at least two years. The bigger the innovation, the longer the project.

We work according to the Stage Gate process. Once key milestones have been reached, we move on to the next step in the project.

Our project teams have between 1 and 20 members.

There are no typical requirements. Many of our new employees are graduates. But what is important to us is that you feel at home in a medium-sized company.
