Our history
DMG was founded in 1963, on the birthday of our current president. Dr Wolfgang Mühlbauer is now the second generation of his family to head our company, which he does together with Susanne Stegen. Founded out of his father's aspiration to help shape progress in the dental world, DMG now employs close to 500 people in Germany with the aim of delivering the highest quality products possible.
Our company was founded in Hamburg, is still there and is not intending to move. We can be found spread over several buildings on Elbgaustraße. Hamburg is a gateway to the world, and DMG also has an excellent international network. We have colleagues from all over the world who share their expertise to further advance and progress dentistry.
