The Hamburg Senate awarded DMG the Family Seal in January 2021.
The Hamburg Senate launched this initiative in 2007 to award small and medium-sized companies for their special commitment to promoting work-life balance.
DMG was able to impress with its variety of different options within regular full- and part-time work models.

A typical day at DMG:
There are a number of as yet unresolved and exciting challenges relating to dentistry, dental technology, the markets and our organisation itself, and I provide our in-house experts with methodical and creative support in developing solutions on a daily basis. In concrete terms, our work involves a combination of focused work on strategies and concepts, a great deal of communication, running workshops for developing ideas, innovations and solutions, method coaching or engaging participatory formats.
The most surprising thing about DMG:
How friendly everyone is, that there is a contact person for everything, and that every problem is solved in a committed and conscientious way. Prior to working at DMG, I had only ever encountered dental materials as a patient so I was also initially surprised by the diversity and the innovative potential in this field. Plus, I think it's commendable that DMG is putting a lot of energy into including people in these transformations as it addresses new agile ways of working, innovative business models, technologies, and more.
Collaboration:
We work with all divisions – every part of the corporate group, every department in Hamburg, and every employee is a Corporate Development “customer” who either approaches us with projects or for whom we develop tailored solutions. We need the expertise from all of the departments to generate product ideas and develop innovative solutions for current and future challenges.
